The roots at Badlands run deep and many may not know, that the company started two decades ago making mountaineering packs for guides going up the likes of Everest, K2 and Denali. We learned two important lessons from those days. One: mountaineering equipment was light years ahead of anything else out there. Two: we liked hunting a lot more. Fast-forward to today and hunting pack technology has far surpassed mountaineering and we still love hunting more. None the less when designing the Point, we took many of the concepts and ideas which worked so well while scaling some northern face or a first ascent and fused them into this pack.
